No matter what situation you are in
Just call on me, and I'll be there
Because you are my friend
Your friendship, is a blessing
Sent to me, from God above
You see, " Friend " is a special title
Reserved for special people, that we love
In a friendship there is give and take
A sharing, of feelings from the heart
A meeting of kindred spirits
That make a connection, from the start
When you meet someone, you call your friend
It's a very special day for you
Because you've met someone who will be there
To help you in anything you do
So today, I want to let you know that
I'm glad you are my friend
And know, that no matter what happens
On me...... you can always depend.
