I was in the grocery store, Aldi, one day and happened upon a new type of yogurt that I had never seen before. I assumed that it was an Aldi store brand since I had never encountered it before, and come to find out, I was right. It was a yogurt product produced by Friendly Farms. What was so unique about this yogurt, however, was that it was whipped. I thought, "Whipped yogurt?" I had never heard of it before, but since they offered it in my favorite flavor, strawberry, I thought I would give it a try. Therefore, I grabbed a couple of the tubs at forty-three cents each and bought the two of them for less than a dollar.
When I sampled my new yogurt, I was completely surprised at just how different it was from traditional yogurt. Whereas traditional yogurt is smooth and creamy, this whipped yogurt was fluffy and light. However, the difference was delicious. It truly astounded me how different yogurt tasted just because it was prepared differently by being whipped. It assaulted my taste buds with a light, frothy taste of sweet strawberries. The texture of this whipped yogurt is much like that of whipped cream. In fact, it tastes much like strawberry flavored whipped cream, only not quite as rich.
Now, I am a huge fan of Friendly Farms whipped yogurt. To my knowledge, it comes in two flavors: strawberry and peach and both are fantastic. Plus, they are a cheaper than the leading yogurts, Yoplait and Dan Active. The only drawback I would have to offer about them is that one small tub of whipped yogurt contains 130 calories whereas some brands only contain 100 calories. However, this yogurt is so addicting, it is a small price that consumers are willing to pay for its yummy taste. Friendly Farms whipped yogurt is a yogurt lover's dream. Once you try this whipped yogurt you will be anticipating new flavors as am I.

Post a CommentHello,
I really love your regular yogurt especially the blueberry. The whipped is not for me, I bought it
Twice at Aldis and I can’t anymore. It doesn’t taste like yogurt. Can you send me an email and tell me know if you will be bring the regular yogurt back? If not, I guess I will have to purchase my yogurt elsewhere because your whipped yogurt doesn’t make me feel well.
Thanks for your time.

I had Friendly Farms whipped yogurt from Aldis. It tasted good, but I got diareah afterwards. Was there a recall on this?
I agree! Friendly Farms whipped yogurt is fantastic. I love it. I have had it in strawberry, rapsberry and orange. I haven't seen peach on the shelves in my local ALDI's store, but I can't wait to try it!
