Friendly Restaurants in the Boston Area

Finding a nice friendly restaurant is important. You want a place that makes you and whomever you are dining with feel comfortable and relaxed. There are many places that do just that in the Boston area.

For Starters there is the Franklin Cafe which was opened at the end of 1996. A beautiful place to dine and relax. This restaurant serves a full menu of American Cuisine until 1:30 am every day of the week. They have a vast assortment of wine, 9 different micro brew beers on tap and a full bar. The Franklin Cafe can even host private parties for your needs. For the private parties there is even an event planner to make sure every thing goes as smoothly as possible. The menu choices they have is amazing, everything from salads to Pasta Primavera to Garlic Grilled Calamari. They also have an amazing dessert menu to choose from. My personal can't do without is the Warm Chocolate Souffle or house made lemon sorbet. If you decide to try this amazing place out they are located at 278 Shawmut Avenue in Boston.

If that one doesn't strike your fancy there is many other great places to eat in the area, such as The Parish Cafe which serves sandwiches created by renown chefs. They are also open late, serving their full menu until 1:00Am with the last call at the bar at 2:00am. They have out door dining available this time of year and are handicap accessible. Their menu consists of salads, appetizers and of course their sandwiches. Everyone should try this place at least once. They offer a full bar and remember to check out the daily specials.

If you enjoy wine with your meal consider the 33 Restaurant and Lounge who received the 2007 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. They also offer the choice of out door dining on the patio. Here you can enjoy the ambiance of the lounge while starting your meal off with appetizers such as ½ Dozen Oysters from Nantucket Bay 3 Ways. Then you could move on to the main course. How can you go wrong with their Buttered Maine Lobster or Filet Mignon. They also have a full time event planner and can host a get together for you with 5-500 people, they do about 300 parties a year. The 33 Restaurant and Lounge is located at 33 Stan hope Street.

If you find that you have a taste for something a little more exotic, why not head on over to Tangierino. They are the recipients of the Award of Excellence by the Restaurant Association of North America. The Moroccan food is just about to beautiful to eat, but too good to pass up. They offer a great wine list to go with your food. The chef is Samad Naamad who is stated to be one of Bostons hottest new chefs. They have belly dancers every night from 7:30 to 11:00PM. To provide entertainment. They also do catering for your special events. Tangierino offers flavored hookahs, cigars and international cigarettes for purchase. Tangerino is located at 83 Main St. in Charleston. Just steps off of the freedom trail.
