Best friends are those you can laugh with and cry with and will always forgive you even after the worst of times.
This poem reflects a friendship that has had it's bumps and bruises, but will always remain.

The water drowns the tears
The smiles still remain
Guarding us from fear
Hand in Hand, side by side
Together again we walk
Listening to the raindrops fall
Listening as we talk
Remembering the good times
in our past
we talk for hours
about how they will last
