Dark and cold was its hold
Deep within the ground
A shallow cave and all it gave
Yet naught could hold Him down

A large stone was placed in front
So none could get away
But that's not how the story went
That fateful Resurrection Day
His lifeless body, it was placed
Inside the darkened tomb
He was not supposed to rise
It was to be his doom
"Destroy this temple", Jesus said
"And I will raise it again in three days"
