to know that I should forget the past...
Now I know what I need to do
this love I feel has got to last...
I was far too worried about you, girl-
to know that you and I weren't meant to be...
Then all of your problems faded
and then it was time to start on me...
Standing on a mountain top~
looking for heaven on the brightest star...
Standing on a mountain top~
tell me, angel... tell me where you are...
Time goes by so quickly now
it's hard to know when it all began...
Looking for angels to show me how
to walk with my father in the sand...
Standing on a mountain top~
looking for heaven on the brightest star...

I continue this search that I am destined
I continue to count every star above...
I continue to count of you to help me, girl-
