From the beginning of time mankind was free. Free to do as he or she pleased. There were no jobs, no time clocks, no career progression, no paychecks and no banks to make that car, house or credit card payment to. People lived a simple life, a life free of the hustle and bustle of everyday modern life.
For thousands of years a mans daily work consisted of providing food and shelter for his family. Women were responsible for raising children, cooking and clothing their family.
Whether the men were hunting for the great mammoth, deer or any other variety of meat, the activity was generally the same. A lot of exertion to get the food, prepare and preserve it, and from there it was time to relax. As time went on we learned to trade for things we wanted.
We learned that we could accomplish more if we took other people and made slaves of them. Over time people revolted against slavery and the job was born.
That's right folks, slavery was replaced by the job. Just Over Broke. Think about it. They tell you when to be there and what to do. In exchange for your obedience the "masters" give you enough crumbs to keep you from leaving in search of a new master. If you are late or don't do exactly as you are told, you could lose your job. Losing your job could cause you to lose you family, car or house. They have you in a slavery trap. If you don't perform as the societal masters dictate, you can lose everything.
So what is the alternative? Become the master! The cool thing about slavery today is that you can leave it when you want to. Does that mean that everyone that reads this should just quit their jobs tomorrow? No, but you can understand your predicament and make plans to change your master, slave relationship.
Becoming the master of your own destiny is not for everyone. Some people are more comfortable with the security of a job and for those, I encourage you to work for career progression, educate yourself and at least put yourself in a position that although you may work for someone else, you are the master of your own destiny.
For those that are interested in becoming truly free and mastering your own destiny, read on.
I personally am self employed and although I have struggled at times, enjoy the freedom of being able to wake up every day and do what I want. The mistake I made is that, as a self employed carpenter, I am not really a businessman, I am just a self employed craftsman. Yes, that could bring in more money than working for another remodeling company, but I only make money when I work. If I don't work, I don't get paid. I used to have a few crews, but that did not really work out well for me, managing people can be a real hassle especially in the construction and remodeling business.
Realizing that I really wanted to do something different I spent the last year researching how to make money on the internet. Not everyone is able to write and is interested in building up a business on the internet. For those that are, I have come up with my own plan to enable you to go from making zero dollars on line to making a good living.
Why build up an internet business? Very simple. The potential for profit is staggering and you can be making money while you sleep. Think about it. When you punch the time clock, you only make money until you punch out and that is a very specific amount of money. How would you like to sit at home, in your pj's, type a few words and be getting paid off that effort five months or five years from now. Your boss down at the factory or wherever you work, is only going to pay you one time for the work you are currently doing. Sure maybe you will get a bonus for being the top widget maker or nurse of the year or maybe they will throw you a few extra crumbs because you made the masters an obscene profit this year, but you have no opportunity to keep getting paid year after year for the work you do today.
With a little imagination, some research and basic internet business skills, you can start working your way to an obscene profit on the internet on a part time basis and go full time when you are comfortable.
So what does my plan involve, you ask? It is a very simple business model. It involves writing article for AC Content and developing your own blog or multiple blogs and websites. In the beginning you will spend no money to get started. Why spend money you don't have. If you do have money to invest in your business, save it, you can use it later. Over the next few paragraphs I will give you the basics of Mike Warner's Blogger Revenue, getting started plan. As stated at the beginning of this article. This is a series of articles on how to make money on the internet. Rome was not built in a day and your online business will not be either.
Why write for AC content? The potential for profit is very good. It has been suggested that a person could make up to $1, 000 a day writing for AC content. How can that be possible you ask? So very glad you asked. The first 90 days of your new business you need to write at least 5 articles each day and submit them to AC Content. If your writing is up to par, AC Content will make you an offer to purchase the articles. The articles have to be at least 400 words. I personally would encourage you to write articles that are longer. Many new writers will write articles that are short and contain nothing but drivel. Give your readers a reason to bookmark your pages, make them desire to return to you for more information or entertainment. Think about it, when you go to the mall, walk into a store that has nothing but the same ol' crap as everyone else, do you ever feel like making a special trip back to that store?
Now for the meat and potatoes. Why write at least 5 articles each day? At the end of 90 days you will have written 450 articles. AC Content will pay you $1.50 for every 1000 page views you get. Properly written and marketed you will be getting traffic and be making money. Keep up the pace and two years from now you could have 1800 articles, articles that are making you money while you sleep. I personally like to write fewer articles that have a larger word count. Some people may not read a complete article, but will bookmark it and return later. You have to figure out what you are most comfortable with. Most people do recommend articles that are 600-800 words in length.
What should you write about? If you already have a specialty or knowledge in specific area, that would be a good place to start. Many people write about current events, politics or movie stars and famous people. The trick is to write timeless material. I have had a few blogs and have learned that it is a waste of time to write about something people will only be doing searches for today. I personally like to write a mixture, articles that are popular today and have a potential for long term growth and articles that are purely timeless. How to articles are very popular, as are short biographies of famous people. Peruse the articles here on AC Content to see what type of articles other writers are writing and study their style, email them and ask questions. Like any business, with making money on the internet, there is a learning curve and you will not be able to conquer it overnight.
Set up a blog. Why? With your blog you have complete control over the content and get to make all the money from the advertising. I used to think it would be unwise to write for AC Content and smarter to write for my own blog. By deductive reasoning I came to the conclusion that since AC Content was paying me off the proceeds of the advertising on their site, it would be smarter to write for my own blog and get to keep all the advertising money for myself. What I did not realize was that AC Content has already built their site up and is getting traffic. I could have been making more money from the beginning if I would have put a little more thought into what I was doing. Sometimes we have to learn the hard way.
I recommend blogger.com to get started. It's free and easy to use. Many like Wordpress better and consider it more powerful. I have used both and really did not like Wordpress. Blogger is easy and Google is always making improvements to it. If you mainly want to write about a certain subject, try to use a keyword for that subject in your url. For example if you are going to be writing about solar energy or alternative energy try to get a name like mysolar.blogspot.com or modernenergy.blogspot.com. If you can spare $9 go to godaddy.com and get your own url. Depending on your particular subject it could be impossible to get a url with the subject in the url, if not, come up with something unique. You can then host the url on blogger for free and later on when the big money comes rolling in you can move the url to your own hosting service. If you don't want to spend the money on a url right now you can always get one late when you start making money. Blogger is set up so that when you do get your own url, your old one will still work so you don't lose any links you have built up.
The purpose of the blog is very simple. To get started, write most of your articles on AC Content, that will get the cash flowing. For every article that you write on AC Content, put a summery on your blog, linking to the full article on AC Content. Come up with a schedule for posting articles. For example, you could write a full article on your blog three time each week to start. As time goes on and you start building up a following, you can increase the amount of articles on your own site and decrease the amount you submit to AC Content. Why? You will monetize your blog with your own advertising and the more readers you get, the more money the blog will produce.
Are you ready to go from slavery to freedom? Get started today! I have barely scratched the surface of making money online with this article and will expand on the subject in future articles.

Post a CommentUPDATE: Although I think the plan that I outline in this article is a pretty good one, I am not following it. I am the type of guy that is involved with many projects and realized that I do not have the time right now to follow this plan.
