The music behind the track "From You" is transformed into a beautiful melodic arrangement while Brown sings sweet words of joy and love for God. While singing praise through the lyrics, " -- From you, comes the song that the Bluebird sings/And when the storm clouds matter/And the rain begins to fall/There is a peace that keeps me calm/And it comes from you -- /" Brown is able to display her devotion to the creator of Earth. The song serves as a musical ministry from Brown to her listeners as she sings of her own uplifting stories of believing in the power of God.
Through the song "Salvation Medley", Brown showcases a strong and powerful vocal range while singing praises to Jesus. Similar to the vocal styles of R&B singer Whitney Houston, Brown's music provides inspiration and motivation for others to continue along the religious path while distancing from sin and negativity. The lyrics, "...Those horrible things they say/They say you're not real/Don't understand what I feel/How do I let them know/To me the love that you show -- /" display Brown's own thoughts as she reflects on tribulations endured through her emotional journey while finding the light. In a December 2010 blog posted on her official website, Brown recalls the moments that affected her life, "Being the brunt of ''ยน..."black' jokes and wise cracks (although, I don't know how being cruel to someone was considered wise) wore heavily on a person's self-esteem, especially when they are young." Through these trying and difficult moments, Brown was able to find solace through Jesus while reading important scriptures through the Bible. In the Holy Bible, Brown recalls 2 Samuel 16 as being a guide to help her move towards the light of God, " -- If I had taken the time, effort and resources wasted in trying to change my reflection in the mirror, and instead invested them in building a love relationship with God, I would have avoided some major mishaps."
Through her words and music, Brown is able to encourage others to not give up on their faith and to continue on their journey to knowing God. Since the tender age of 7, Brown has transformed her own personal thoughts of God into beautiful melodies of praise and worship. Performing with Internationally-known choirs The Aeolians and Dynamic Praise, Brown is able to turn her songs into powerful ballads which illuminate listeners' ears. Shortly after launching her 2005 record label Sounds4theSoul, Brown began speaking and singing the word of God for audiences around the Nation. This uplifting and spiritual journey helped Brown move forward with the successful 2006 launch of "By Your Side Ministries", a non-profit organization founded to provide support to single parents and at-risked youth.
In 2009, Brown launched her very successful Talk Radio Show Life Happens: So What Are You Going To Do About It? on BlogTalkRadio. Through the show, Brown discusses everyday topics including family/friends, relationships, self-development, and politics. While mentioning these topics, Brown speaks of lessons learned from each topic discussed. Many listeners are determined and inspired by the words of Brown, as each individual feels emotionally connected to the truth and words of God.
Through her music, many listeners are spiritually impacted by Angela Bryant-Brown's own testimonies as she thanks God for her positive outcomes through life. For more information about Angela Bryant-Brown and her music, you can visit http://www.sounds4thesoul.com
