The graphics are superb, as you would expect from Zynga, The game is brand new and refreshing, and the themes are awesome. Heck even the music is appropriately themed. I like the way they have combined the whole Farmville and Treasure Island good parts to create a western frontier themed game.
The game is appropriately set in the mid-west, Wild West frontier genre. You must clear land, plant crops, collect treasures and rewards, fight rattle snakes and bears, and build a town while working toward being married and starting a family. Your first step in this game is to build a cabin and plant food. You need to buy animals and trees, which are the only renewable crop; all plants disappear after one harvest (except trees) and must be replanted. Planting crops and trees do not take energy, although harvesting does.
Trees must be chopped to gain wood, bones and rocks need to be cleared to plant and expand the town, and there are at least 3 additional maps that are in the works to do the same. Currently the main map is all you have to work with but that is plenty to start. If Zynga expands at the rate they did other games they have developed, this game will be GREAT soon. For now it is a cute theme and a great way to waste a few minutes every hour (it takes an hour to recharge the energy bar). If you are an old west fan this game will appeal to you. If you play treasure isle and Farmville you will love this fusion of those two games. Play today and perhaps you'll find some sarsaparilla. or we can let the guns do the talking! pardner
