Frugal Blended Iced Coffee Drink Recipe

Make Your Own Fancy Coffee Drinks at Home

Do you love blended iced coffee drinks? Hate the high cost of a Frappuccino at Starbucks? Try making these cold coffee drinks at home using leftover coffee. This is a simple and frugal way to indulge on a hot summer day.

If you are like me, you have a bit of coffee left in the coffeepot every morning. Do not pour it down the drain. Simply let it cool and pour the coffee into ice cube trays. Put the tray into the freezer to freeze. If you do this each time you have coffee leftover, you can fill a large plastic bag with these frozen coffee cubes.

When you are craving a blended coffee drink, just grab a few frozen coffee cubes and place into your blender. Add some creamer, milk or soy milk. I love using flavored non-dairy creamers. If you normally like sugar in your coffee, then add some sugar to the blender. Blend on high until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy!

You can add whipped cream, shaved chocolate, cinnamon, chocolate syrup or caramel syrup to the top of your blended coffee for an even better drink. Experiment to create new and exciting flavors.

Save your hard earned money this summer. Make your own fancy blended iced coffee drinks at home.
