Fruit Review: The Banana

Pure Writing
A while a go I felt it was time to have some fruits in my diet, "and I had a Banana." The Banana is tasty, sweet, and a soft fruit to eat. I like to eat mine right out of the peeling. But, there is other ways to prepare the Banana, which I would like to discuss about today. And, as you know Bananas can be bought at any grocery store. But, I would really like to talk about how to prepare the Banana.

Fruit Review: The Banana #1: The Banana can be prepared in different ways, but

The Banana can be prepared in different ways, but my favorite way is to eat them right out of the peeling with a fresh glass of milk in the morning. Bananas can also be cut up in your morning cereal with some whole milk, "just make sure to use Kellogs Corn Flakes." But, I have a friend that is form El Salvador, and he told me of how they eat Bananas in El Salvador. And, he told me that they actually cook them on the skillet, "now that just amazed me, I thought that Bananas were only eaten uncooked." But, he said that in his country they take a little oil in a skillet, "but I would use butter instead," and then they fry the Banana until a golden brown, and then the Banana is ready to serve, but make sure the oil is cool, before eating the Banana. I have done this before, but I have added a little cinnamon, and sugar to the Banana when it is done cooking, and the oil is drained out on a paper towel. When buying Bananas always buy the ones that are a little brown like the one in my picture by Dole Bananas. The reason for this is, because Bananas that are a little brown are going to taste better, more sweet, and well done compared to Bananas that are very yellow, and hard. I usually buy the big paper bag specials full of bananas that are on sell for basically nothing. The reason they sell these bananas very cheap in the paper bags is, because they are about to expire, and they want the Bananas sold very fast, but that's when they taste better than the very hard yellow Bananas.

So, please go out, and buy some Bananas that look ready to eat, and get creative with the Banana. If you have any other tips on Bananas, "just let me know in the comments below."
