The New Miranda Lace Up Bootie from Frye and Other Comparable Bootie Styles

Tonya Brisnehan
A rather adorable supplement to the Frye footwear collection for women in 2011 is the Frye Miranda Lace bootie. Constructed from leather with a cute lace-up style in the front, and is right in line with platform bootie styles this year. But leave it to Frye to add unique touches that make this style one of a kind. It comes in a few earthy rich colors and has a retail price of around $200.

While this bootie is truly an excellent choice in fall footwear for this year, there are a few other similar styles that you might want to check out before buying:

Frye Harlow Campus Bootie:

Similar in style to the Harlow Campus boot, this bootie version is beyond feminine and moves right into the realm of completely gorgeous. It has the same sharp lines of the boot, while the ankle height cuffs around the ankle area to add a distinctive appeal. Like the Miranda, this bootie has a heel with a good amount of height and a bit of a platform as well. It comes in five earthy and beautiful shades and has a retail price of around $250.

Enzo Angiolini Flory Bootie:

Here is another gorgeous women's platform bootie this year - the Enzo Angiolini Flory. It has some similarities and differences when compared to the Miranda, a couple of the differences being a wedge heel and more slender laces. However the bootie is generally quite similar having a lace up design and a similar heel height. Also constructed from leather, this style comes in a few quite unique colors and has a retail price of around $140.

Steven Baren Bootie:

From the Steven by Steve Madden collection, the Baren bootie just begs to be worn by women who appreciate accelerated style. It has quite a similar look to the Miranda, although the heel is a bit thicker in width and the laces reside a bit lower on the upper. Both the heel and platform have stacked wooden design. It comes in a couple of darker shades and has a retail price of around $180.

Any of the styles above including the Frye Miranda Lace bootie or other similar styles appear to be excellent choices in gorgeous footwear for fall and winter of 2011 and beyond.
