Delano S
I am a stay at home mom and i can tell you that it can be the hardest job of all but the secret is to have a plan or make a schedule and it will make your job
easier.

Before i became a stay at home mom I used to be in the working world. At first they were times I felt lost and alone but it took time for me to figure it out that
I am still working and I do still have a job even though I do not leave my home to work I am still a successful woman in begin a stay at home mom.

It is nice as a matter of fact it's wonderful to be home with my daughter and consider myself extremely lucky but this luck does not come without sacrifice and hard work. I work hours that extend well past eight to five. I am on call twenty-four hours a day.

I still do some work from at home i work on projects whenever I want and for how long I want. I control my working hours. Finding time for myself is
important cause I deserves a break once in a while and I try to take a few hours or a day to myself this is were my husband comes in.

Being a stay at home mom has change me in so many ways. I know that i have to set the right examples and be the perfect role model for my daughter. I can control her TV viewing, what she is exposed to , start to teach her and engage her sponge like mind in ways that will be play a significant role in her future development.

I have a toddler and she can be a hand full sometimes be we have a wonderful bond and a good relationship. I work with this routine for her and i try to stick to it.

7:00 am - Wake up
7:30 am - Get a Bath and get dress
8:00 am - Have Breakfast
9:00 am - Work time ( learning colors, animals, alphabet and number flash cards) etc.
10:00 am - Morning snack
NOON - LUNCH
1:00 pm - Afternoon nap
3:00 pm - Afternoon snack
4:00 pm - Dinner
5:00 pm - Play and T.V time
7:00 pm - Bath, bed and story time

Her routine works great for us. This is my daily schedule - Cleaning bathroom, Sweeping, Moping, Cooking, Laundry, Grocery shopping and my work on the side.

Monday to Friday i do one chore everyday expect cooking and the work i do on a side, Saturday is the laundry day and Sunday is the day i try to get to
myself cause daddy is home with her. I also used a calendar and write things down so I will know what I have to do.We love our daughter dearly and I know my daughter loves us and needs us. She is growing everyday, she's not going to stay small for long, she is getting older and more independent.

So this is a little message for all you stay at home moms enjoy your children give them love and attention thats what they need -- not all the toys that they want cause they ain't going to stay small forever and remember all the time you put in is to help them achieve and to become the best that they can be and
you will be proud.

The hardest job in the world and the most rewarding, shaping a young mind for a future, and controlling the family. So i dont see myself as being unemployed, but having a fulltime, life-job that is more rewarding and more important that your typical 9-5. So make it fun, make it dynamic, make it a routine, make it successful for you and you will be a great success.

It has also given me the time to find myself and look for what i am good at and embark upon being fully self-sufficient. My confidence has increase as i have taken full control of my life and looking to set it on a path that i want, and control my own destiny. So not only as i am a successful but also a successful business woman.
