Winters can be are real bore for teenagers. It seems that their activity level drops to almost 50%. But it doesn't have to this year there are so many winter activities available for your teenagers you just need to introduce them to those activities. Follow along and will go through some wonderful activities I know your teenagers will love.

1. Just because it's winter doesn't mean we need to quit swimming, swimming is a year round activity. One of the greatest things happening it at indoor swimming pools lately is they are incorporating other fun events such as ping pong, pool and youth nights. Look in your local Yellow Pages and find a swimming pool near you call them up and ask them what type of events they have for teenagers.

2. Ice skating is often a winter treat for teenagers. It is never too late to learn how to skate so take your youngsters out to the nearest skating rink to join the other hundreds of teenagers who go skating each and every day during the winter.

3. Skiing and snowboarding are one of the biggest activities mighty majors look forward to each and every winter. The look on their faces when the first snow falls brings extra joy to this mom's face. They begin planning on which weekends they have free to go skiing and they do it with such enthusiasm. If your teenager does its ski or snowboard there's no better time for them to learn then today.

4. We can't forget sledding one of the biggest pastimes every winter. We like to make it a family event and if we're not too busy we try to get out at least every second weekend to the nearest sledding hill. This time try to bring a camera and take some pictures of your kids sleigh riding down the hills. They make a wonderful addition to your Christmas cards as well.

5. Winter is the perfect time to learn something new. A few things your teenagers might love to do is learn a new instrument. There's also acting lessons they could take during the winter. Volunteering is also a great life lesson for your teenagers get them involved over at a local food bank or an elderly home. Any volunteering taking place at this delicate age will strengthen your teenager and prepare them for the future.
