Halloween is coming up and many of us plan on attending a Halloween party. Here are some great games you can play to entertain your guests. You can play them with or without the alcohol involved. So, you can use these ideas for children's Halloween parties as well.

(1) Who am I?: This is a classic game you can play at a Halloween party. Have someone write the name of a person, place, or thing on a piece of paper. Then, the guests will ask yes or no question one at a time. They are not permitted to look at the paper themselves or ask for the help of others. The person who guesses right first gets a prize and is next to answer questions. You can easily turn this into a drinking game by making a person who asks a question and the answer is 'no' take a drink. You can even have the answerer say 'drink' instead of no.

(2) Pumpkin Hunt: This is an outdoor game played at night with some lights. The concept simple. All you have to do is hide small pumpkins in the backyard. You can hide them all yourself before the guests get there or have them go out one at a time, each with a pumpkin. But, give them a time limit so they don't go and try to find the pumpkins that were hidden before theirs. Once this is done, everyone all goes out and searches for the pumpkins. Set a time limit for this as well. When time is up, everyone that has not retrieved a pumpkin must take a shot. For children, every pumpkin they find gets a prize.

(3) Horror Movie Challenge: In this game you give clues about the horror movies that you have seen and your friends must try to guess the name of the movie. Or, you can turn it into a charades game where you have to act out horror movie scenes. The person that guesses right goes next and gets to choose one person to drink or take a shot.

(4) Truth or Dare: In this game you ask your friend a the question, "Truth or dare?" If they answer 'truth', the question should be answered either true or false. So, ask a closed ended question. If most of your friends think you lied, they can make you do a dare. If the person does not want to answer the question, they must drink. If they answer 'dare', the group must agree on a dare. Be careful to choose something legal! It's also not a good idea to dare them to drink a whole bottle of vodka. Be safe this Halloween!

(5) The Search Game: In this game you need some plastic toys like spiders or snakes or anything that is spooky, in large numbers. You can find these at the dollar stores. You also need a container with a coffins shape or a cauldron. Fill the container with water or, even better, Jello. Put the items in the container Than each friend has to find the item using only their mouth. Or, you could make it more interesting by making them find them and pick them up with their toes. Some people will be dressed up in face paint for Halloween and may not want to put their head in water or Jello. So, using toes might be better. Each friend should be given a limited time (30 seconds) to find those items. The person who gets most of the item wins the game! The person who collected the least amount of items must take a shot. Then, the person that wins the game selects another to take a shot as well (not the same person).

*Do not get so drunk that you can't drive home! Be responsible.
