GK
Throwing a baby shower is a joyous occasion of celebrating an upcoming life, so shouldn't it be fun? Incorporating enjoyable baby shower games into the mom-to-be's special day will prove for an entertaining party. Not only are they fun, but they are an excellent way to have the party guests interacting and getting to know one another. Such activities include Can't Say Baby, Measuring Mommy, and Guess Who: Baby Style.

Can't Say Baby is a competition that takes place throughout the entire baby shower. Upon arrival, guests are giving a diaper pin to place on their shirt. If anyone is caught saying the word "baby" they must give their diaper pin to whomever caught them. The object of the game is to collect as many diaper pins from other guests as possible. The person with the most pins at the end of the shower is the champion!

Want to see how big the new mommy has become? You can find out with Measuring Mommy! Guests compete to see who can best guess the size of the tummy to win this game. Have a ball of string and a pair of scissors ready to pass around so each player can cut off a piece that they think will fit around the belly. Then, the mom-to-be is measured with each piece of string. However comes the closest to making their ends meet when the string is around the mom is the winner! An alternative to this game is using yarn or toilet paper instead of string.

Think you can tell what everyone looked like as a baby? That's the point of Guess Who: Baby Style. For this interesting game, ask your baby shower guests to bring with them a baby photo of themselves. When your guests arrive, have something collect the photos, number them, and post them on the wall. When the time comes to play the game, give everyone a piece of paper and pen, and let them guess who each baby picture belongs to. This cute little game is won by having the most correct guesses.

As you can see, baby showers are nice occasions to celebrate life and good company. It is a delightful way to honor the mother-to-be while also having lots of fun. Throw in a few games, presents, and a yummy cake, and it will be a very memorable moment for mommy and guests!
