Fun Bridal Shower Games

Panty Clothesline

Bridal showers are fun, and adding a bit of spice to the occasion could be just what is needed. Whether the bride-to-be is blushing or brazen, everyone enjoys a bit of boudior aviance.

Ask the guests to bring a pair of sexy panties, bloomers, boxers, or some kind of underware to the shower.

Put up a clothes line (or something similar), and have some clothespins available, or attached to the line.. Have the person that brought the panty hand it on the line, and suggest when it should be worn by the bride. How to's and demonstrations can add to the party fun.

Each suggestion or idea of when and where the bride should wear the panties turns into a laugh-filled experience. It's a fun game that will be remembered for years to come, and everyone will get a kick out of the presentation.

There could be an area on the clothesline for the bride to wear the 'first' night, and sexy panties for the honeymoon. Red panties for Valentine's Day, stars and stripes for the 4th of July. Leopard print or see-thru panties for the 1st anniversary. There could be some full-cut panties for the long-haul (like 25 years from now), and maybe some granny panties (bloomers) for the 'golden' years.

The Groom Game

Prior to the shower, have someone contact the groom and ask a list of questions (10 or 15). The questions should be specifically about himself and the bride. Besure whatever you ask him will remain a secret, so the bride doesn't know your plans ahead of time.

Some questions could be:

  • What's the groom's favorite food?
  • Who would the groom be, if he was a superhero?
  • What was the date of your first kiss?
  • Where did you go on your first date?
  • What animal is the groom most like?
  • How many times have you been intimate?
  • Who initiated the first French kiss?

Write each question on a 3x5 card, and write the groom's answers on the back of the card. Read the questions to the group, and have everyone write down how many they think the bride will get right. The bride must match the groom's answer. It's a lot of fun and can get very interesting!

Sock Guessing Game

  • Purchase several pairs of tube socks.
  • Get the same amount of honeymoon items, such as, sunscreen, condoms, hotel key, sunglasses, etc. Get things that relate to where the honeymooners will be going.
  • Put one item in each sock, tie it shut, and pin a number on it.
  • Guests must feel each sock with their bare feet only, and guess what's in the sock.
  • Whoever guesses the most items correctly, wins a prize.

Honeymoon Ramblings
  • Give each guest a piece of paper and a marker.
  • Have them place the paper on the floor, in front of them. They must bend over and trace their right hand on the paper. BUT, they must do this without bending their knees!
  • While the guests are attempting to do this, have a person write down the things everyone says.
  • Then, announce, "This is what (bride's name) is going to say on her wedding night." Then read the responses. Some of the responses might include: "no way," "this really hurts," "just about there," "i almost got it," "this is hard."
  • Let the bride keep the sayings as a keepsake.

Lemons
  • Purchase enough lemons and stockings for each guest.
  • Fill soda bottles about 1/3 full with water.
  • Place a lemon in each of the stocking legs.
  • Have everyone wrap a pair of stockings around their waist, so that the lemons hang low.
  • Put on some music with a beat.
  • Have everyone swing their hips back and forth to knock over the soda bottles with the lemons.
  • Whoever knocks over all the soda bottles in the shortest amount of time wind.

Recipe for Happiness
  • Give each guest a piece of stationary and have them write down what they feel is a recipe for a happy marriage.
  • When everyone is done, fold the 'recipes' in half and place them in a box.
  • Have someone pull them out, one by one, and read them aloud.
  • As each one is read, have guests try to guess who wrote the recipe.
  • There's really no winner, but a small keepsake could be given to each guest.
