10. PICTURE FRAME: Flatten the hat and use the top of it as a picture frame. Tape or glue your favorite graduation picture in the center and hang it on the wall. It will be trendy and fun.
9. SHADOWBOX: Put the hat behind your diploma on an angle in a large shadowbox frame. Then fill the border with pictures of your graduation and pieces of confetti.
8. MIRROR: Glue a mirror to the back of it after flattening the hat and hang it in your dorm room or bedroom for that last minute check on your way out the door.
7. KEY HOLDER: Place the hat on a table and let the sides stand up to form a spot for you to toss your keys, loose change, etc. when you get home.
6. VASE: Sit the hat in the center of your table with a short vase inside filled with flowers. Use double-sided sticky tape to tape the hat to the vase so it will appear as if the flowers are simply sitting in your hat.
5. FUN FAN MAIL: Use a silver marker to write a message on the hat and mail it to your Grandma or older brother, someone you admire thanking them for the influence they've had in your life. The hat will serve as a symbol to show them how far you've gotten with their help, love & support.
4. THANK YOU NOTES: Cut that hat into small pieces the shape of a star and include a piece of it in all of your thank you notes, tape it to them on the front. Make a comment about the piece of the hat that you're giving to them as a symbol of your appreciation and gratefulness that they helped you get this far.
3. MEMORY ART: Put pictures of friends & family on the inside until it's completely covered, then use decoupage to seal them. Hang it on your wall as 3-D memory art!
2.CHIPS & DIP HOLDER: Line the hat with foil and serve snacks at your party with it. You can fill it with nuts, mints, chips, even dip if you line it really well!
1. JOURNAL: Write your thoughts & memories of graduation day on the inside as a journal entry you can look back on for years to come.
