Fun and Easy Hairstyles Created Without Heat

Great for Wedding, Prom, Party, or Everyday

Angel Vee
Nowadays a lot of women have a hard time finding that easy hairstyle that requires little or no heat, especially on the holidays, a prom, dance or wedding. What can do to your hair besides the same old bun, or ponytail?

I am so glad you asked, because I have many tricks up my sleeve as usual. Being a mom of three, I know how hard it is to actually be able to fully blow-dry my hair and style it. Therefore you need those no heat styles that are fun, quick, and stylish at the same time.

Scrunch Twist And Decorate

This easy tousled look can be done on almost any hair length. As long as you have the right products your good to go. Start out by shampooing and conditioning the hair. Allow the hair to air dry half way. Apply a scrunching product and using your fingers scrunch away. Once the hair is almost dry repeat the scrunching step again, but this time use a sea salt mixture, and twist each section of hair around your fingers.

The sea salt can be applied just mixed with water, you can use an essential oil or add a conditioner to the mix. The salt helps create more texture to the hair. While some will get big loose curls, others can get ringlets.

Pull the hair back, and decorate with ribbon. Use red and green for Christmas, White, rainbow of colors for New Years, White, silver, and gold for wedding, red and pink for Valentine's Day, and prom intertwine two different colors to match your dress. You can also intertwine two different colors to match your Graduation gown as well.

Chopstick Or Pencil Styles

These fun accessories can be used on a simple style like a messy bun, knot, roll or a more fancier style like a french twist, or a roll with two knots. The only thing you have to make sure is the chopsticks or pencils are secure in the hair. Easy tip make an X and place them through the desired bun or style. Try to go with the thickest part possible. This way they won't move as much or fall out.

Side Twist With Messy Bun

Grab the hair from one side and twist it until you get to the nape of neck. Then twist the other side. Using the hair leftover create a messy bun or knot. Stick one chopstick or pencil on the right side going diagonal. Then place the other one on left going over the first one. It should represent an X.

Up And Classy But Yet Simple

Grab strands of hair and twist them. Then place flat on head and pin. Do this on whole head, just the sides, or certain areas that need some pizazz. Pin curls work on any length, and can be slept on. The next day remove the pins and run your fingers through the hair. Leave it plain, or use a fancy clip or barrette.

Slicked Back With Headband

This style can be done on wet or dry hair. Use a good holding gel and place into the entire head. Then brush the hair going all back. Place the headband on top, and leave the rest of the hair hanging, or you can twist, scrunch, or mess up.

Since my hair is so curly, I've always done the scrunch thing and it really does work! My teen daughter is now styling her hair that way, and it's perfect for up do styling.
