Luke Bryan was born in 1976 and grew up in Leesburg, Georgia.
His older brother was killed in a car accident on the same day the singer was going to move out to Nashville to try to make it in the country music world. After the death of his brother, he decided to stay at home with his family.
The singer graduated from Georgia Southern University.
Before his career as a country singer and songwriter, he worked at his dad's peanut mill. It was actually his dad who told him to quit in order to pursue his dream or he'd fire him himself.
He has two children; Thomas "Bo" Boyer and Tatum Christopher.
He's gotten through difficult times in life by maintaining a positive outlook on things.
