Fun Facts About Snooki on Jersey Shore

Snooki, who's also known by her real name Nicole Polizzi, is a member of the Jersey Shore cast on MTV. The following are some fun facts about the reality star:

Snooki co-wrote her novel "A Shore Thing" with best-selling writer Valerie Frankel. The main character in the book, Gia, is a fictionalized version of Snooki.

"A Shore Thing" was written while she was filming Season 3 of MTV's Jersey Shore.

She's half Spanish.

In case you were wondering, Snooki smells like Britney Spear's perfume.

She told Rolling Stone magazine that being on the MTV reality show Jersey Shore is "just like prison, with cameras".

It probably won't come as a shock to you that she loves Vin Diesel. In fact, she has a chapter in her book titled "Vin Diesel is Hotter than Jesus". Now if that doesn't make you want to read her book, I don't know what would?!

To clarify, Snooki didn't come up with the phrase "tramp clamp". Apparently, that slang has been around awhile.

She doesn't actually have sex with her "smush partners" on the show Jersey Shore, it just looks as if they are having sex.

Snooki was adopted, and says she doesn't have any desire to meet her birth parents.

She admires Jenni's style the most on Jersey Shore because she has "fake boobs and can wear anything".

Valerie Frankel on why Snooki is a star: "I always say: Snooki drinks for our sins. I am collaborating with Snooki for those girls, who look at her and they say, she's not this ideal Paris Hilton or Lauren Conrad, this blonde type-she's just from Poughkeepsie. She's having a good time and enjoying this lightning-in-a-bottle life that she's in right now."

When Jersey Shore is finished, she would like to have her own TV show and eventually her own "empire".
