Family Fun at the AmericInn Splash Bay Adventure
I have two children ages 2 and 4 and we stay at the AmericInn twice a year. We go once during spring break and again in the summer. We used to travel to the Dells, to stay at the Wilderness Resort, but Chippewa Falls is much closer and the smaller size of the indoor water park makes it great for young children. The Splash Bay Adventure indoor water park has four pools, varying in temperatures from about 82 degrees and up. One pool is a shallow pool less than a foot deep with a small slide that is perfect for toddlers. Another pool is three feet deep and is loaded with a spiral slide that parents are allowed to ride down with their kids. The indoor water park also has a pool that is three feet at the shallow end and about six feet deep in the deep end. It has a basketball hoop in the middle on the side of the pool giving the older kids (or adults) a little extra fun. The final pool is a huge hot tub. The indoor water park is also equipped with a lifeguard on duty during most of its open hours.
Family Fun at the AmericInn Open Swim and Party Opportunities
The AmericInn Motel and Suites in Chippewa Falls offers open swim that costs $6.00 per person and children three and under are free. Open swim is available Monday - Thursday from 4 to 8 PM and Sundays from 12 - 8 PM with lifeguard and slide operation. Your family can also enjoy a Splash Adventure Pool Party. This is available for a maximum of ten people with a three hour time limit. It includes access to the Party Room and Splash Adventure Pool area, one large pizza from Piffs Pizza, (delicious) and two liters of soda. Ice, plates, napkins, cups, and towels are all provided.
Family Fun at the AmericInn Superb Staff and Accommodations
The AmericInn motel general manager, Patti Dutcher, should be extremely proud of the staff that she keeps. From Eric, the friendly guy that answered my call and upgraded me for free, to Sally the breakfast attendant who makes the best cheese omelet in motel history made the service and my stay remarkable. My kids had the time of their lives in our Jacuzzi Suite. We made popcorn that was provided and didn't worry about a bedtime or the giddiness of the kids because of the unique SoundGuard construction that the motel prides itself on.
Dutcher says that "The AmericInn of Chippewa Falls is a smoke free facility to ensure a healthy, safe, and enjoyable stay for all guests. We have recently completed a major renovation project to keep in competition with the changing hospitality industry." The motel offers special packages and you can always check to see if "the manager" has a special rate. If you are looking for a fun place where your family can play and relax together, the AmericInn Motel and Suites of Chippewa Falls is the place to stay. Reservations can be made by calling, (715) 723-5711.
