Hoop Dancing : Remember the kind of workout you used to get as a kid spinning that hula hoop around? It now makes its way back into a combined dance and fitness class. Not only does it give your waist the ultimate workout, it's also good for the mind, putting the memory muscle to work. Once you mastered the skill of hula hoop dancing, it's simply a fundamental coordination, which means you can let loose, enjoy the music, and burn calories while having nostalgic childhood fun. Classes are available at www.ironflowerfitnessmiami.com.

AcroYoga : It's just as it sounds, the combination of acrobatics and yoga leads to AcroYoga. Enjoy the spiritual wisdom of yoga, of Thai massage, and the energetic power of Acrobatics. These three ancient lineages combined form requires a partner that cultivates trust, connection and playfulness. The workout is comprised of seven main elements that make up the practice: circle ceremony, asana, partner flow, Thai massage, therapeutic flying, inversions & spotting, and partner acrobatics. To better define the practice, Partner Flow is best describes as a creative sequence of mutually beneficial partner asanas and stretches practicing self-acceptance, receptivity and communicating to our everyday needs. Therapeutic flying utilizes gravity and metta (loving kindess) releasing and opening the spine of the flyer while grounding and empowering the base.
