Making Snowflakes Has Never Been so Easy and so Much Fun

We are getting alot of snow where I live and the snowflakes are so very beautiful. I've found a really cool site where you and the kids can make your very own snowflakes. Most of us fold our paper and then use scissors to create the most amazing snowflakes to decorate our windows and doors with to celebrate the winter season.

Now you can go online to www.popularfront.com/snowdays/ and create as many snowflakes as your little heart desires. There is an area for your name (first) and where you live (optional) and a message area. Here the kids can create a snowflake and send it to their grandparents, Aunts, Uncles or friends. In the message area they can say, "I miss you" or "Happy Holidays" The list is endless.

The really neat part besides making the snowflake is getting a response from someone in another state or another country. You will be notified by email if someone responds to your snowflake. Mom and Dad just type in your email for the little ones. And the kids can catch the snowflakes and they can respond to the ones they like as well. It is very addicting but tons of fun.

My grandsons made several snowflakes and they entered their name and age and a message. They received responses from other kids their age. Now that is really exciting to them, and of course they can respond back with a thank you, if they choose too.

It is so very easy to create these snowflakes and they don't have to be perfect. No snowflake is ever the same and that is all the more fun. You just drag and click the mouse around in a scribble motion and there you have it, instant snowflake, no scissors or paper mess to clean up.

Of course there are those that set out to make the perfect one or want to make a certain shape. It is all up to the creator.

So go to www.popularfront.com/snowdays/ and make some snowflakes. Lots of fun for the whole family.
