This first game takes at least two people. First, stand up and look at each other for one minute, trying to memorize everything about the other person. Now, turn with backs facing each other and try to change one thing about yourself. You can take your glasses off, untie your shoe, anything to make some type of change. Turn back around and see if the other person can see what you changed. This is a fun and free game that allows a person to test their observation skills.
This next activity allows two people to simply sit back and relax. One person looks around the room and finds an object that interests them. The other person is then allowed to ask ten questions in order to guess the object. This game can also be played by trying to guess what movie or song the person is thinking about.
The third game is an old classic. "I'm going on a trip" is a fun memory game that can be played by as little as two people. Simply take turns stating what items you would take on a trip. Each person must successfully repeat the entire list of items before adding their new item to the list. This game can go on for quite some time depending on how good your memory is. It's also a great game to play on long car rides.
Finally, use your imagination and don't forget the classics. Get some decks of cards and see who can build the biggest card house. If building is not your thing then play war. It's fun and two people can play. Another alternative for the internet addict are on line games. There are thousands of free games to play on the net. Here is are two of the most fun and free sites.
http://www.freearcade.com offers a wide variety of games including: arcades, 3D games, puzzle, casino games, shooting games and much more. Try playing "runner". It's a completely addictive driving game that takes skill, but is easy to get the hang of.
http://www.mofunzone.com/onlinegames.shtml also has a great variety of games. Some of these take a little longer to load, but they are worth it. Categories include: action, interaction, adventure, puzzle and classics.
As you can see, having fun on a rainy day does not have to cost money. A little creativity can lead to hours of enjoyment.
