NAME THAT HOLIDAY TUNE: One game you can play with your family is "Name that holiday tune". You will need to collect a variety of holiday music, that doesn't have words, or you can simply just play the first few seconds of the songs. You will play a small portion of a song and someone has to guess what the holiday tune is. For example, play a little bit of "Jingle Bells" and then each person can raise their hand to guess. Who ever raises their hand first, gets first chance to guess the name of the song. They have to give the correct name of the song to win the point. Keep track of everyone's points to see who wins and knows their Christmas music the best at the end of the game. To make it even more fun, have someone who can play the guitar or piano play the songs for everyone to guess.
GAG GIFT AUCTION:Have everyone bring gag gifts to the party wrapped up. Then give everyone an even amount of play money to buy the auction items with. Each person will have a fair chance to win an auction item that they want to bid on. When all of the items have been auctioned off everyone can open their gag gifts to see what wonderful surprise they bought.
HOLIDAY MUSICAL CHAIRS: Play musical chairs to the tune of holiday music. Have a music operator control the radio and play holiday music. Make sure there is one more person than their is chairs. Then start playing the music. Everyone has to stay moving at a constant pace or they will get kicked out. Then the music operator will shut off the music at any given time and each person has to sit on a chair. The person left standing is out that round. Once each round is over remove a chair. The last person left that gets the final seat is the holiday musical chair winner.
