Longston Place - This is the classiest and most up to date theater in the entire area. It is located on the main street of Meridian Ave. and 128th St. It offers 14 separate theaters in it. Each ticket costs approximately 8.75 dollars, which in this economy isn't the worst price that could be offered. I, personally, have never had a bad experience with this theater and my friends and I have made this a regular summer hangout. There is even a Coldstone Creamery about 20 feet from the theater itself, which always adds to the experience. Overall, I have never had a bad experence here and will continue to see movies here for years to come.
South Hill Mall - This theater is not quite as good as the Longston Place theater, but it does offer something that Longston doesn't. Do you ever hate it when you want to see a movie and realize that it isn't playing at your local theater? Well people from Puyallup never have that problem because whenever Longston doesn't offer a certain movie, normally the limited releases, the South Hill Mall theater usually is playing it. This theater is right off of Highway 512 and is on the South Hill Mall exit. It is a smaller theater, but by no means is it a rundown place. I would recommend this place to both people that have just gotten done shopping and the average person who wants a non-hectic environment to enjoy a movie.
Lakewood Stadium - Even though this theater is also off of the 512 exit, the Lakewood Theater appeals to more of the crowd from the Tacoma area, as Lakewood is right next to Tacoma. This theater is a very popular place to be, it is a very nicely built theater and also has very reasonable prices. What I really enjoy from this place is the stadium seating that is offered. In some movie theaters I do not get the fullest experience because my seat is less than optimal. I do not get this problem here because of the outstanding stadium seating. This theater also offers many midnight showings here. So when I am looking for something to do with some friends late at night, this is the place to go. It offers a lot to the young crowd, but an old couple looking for a nice evening at a movie would not at all be out of place either.
