Fun and Inexpensive Christmas Gifts

Looking for fun and inexpensive Christmas gifts? Check out my top 5 favorite Christmas gifts that won't stretch your budget or disappoint your friends. If you have any other favorites, leave me a comment and I'll consider them for next year's list.

A Pack of Cards and a Book of Card Games
Cards are great, because you can play games with them even when there is no electricity around. And, theoretically, the person that you give the gift to could go on to win a lot of money playing poker. They'd only have you to thank. And, this is a really inexpensive gift! Check out Barnes & Noble online. They feature the book for under $10, and you can pick up a deck of cards at any local store for around $2.

Your Kids' Artwork
This Christmas gift is just as much fun to make as it is to give. And, you can give everyone in your family the same gift for Christmas because everyone loves the little ones. If they are very young, have your kids make hand and foot prints and then frame them. Let the older kids go wild! And, talk about inexpensive. You can send as many gifts as you want for the price of a few bottles of non-toxic paint that you can pick up for around $5 each at your local store.

Chocolate
I don't know anyone who doesn't break into a wide smile at the sight of a box of chocolate. If you want to give someone a fun and inexpensive Christmas gift that they're sure to enjoy, head to your local store and pick up every kind of chocolate you can find on the shelf. Then, put them in a decorative basket and tie it with a ribbon. It's happiness in a basket. What could be better than that?

Gardening Gloves, Seeds and A Book on Gardening
Encourage someone you love to start a garden this Christmas. Getting someone started on a fun and inexpensive hobby is a great Christmas gift and one that will keep them thinking of you every time they walk by their garden. Check out www.amazon.com for all three items, which should run you under $30.

Your Favorite Movie
This Christmas season, introduce your friends to a movie that you really love. They'll be glad to know a little more about you. This gift can also be a fun invitation to spend some time together. Throw in a box of popcorn, and put it in a nice gift basket. Wal-Mart always has great, classic movies for under $10. If you don't like the selection there, you can always find great deals on Amazon.
