Playmobil FunPark----Here on a 17,000-square-foot park children, ages 4-7 can enjoy all the latest Playmobil toys. Whether your grandkids love pirates, police officers, farms, or fairy tales, they'll have fun playing with Playmobil toys. Plan your grandchildren's birthday parties here where kids can play, hands-on, with Playmobil toys. Located at 8031 North Military Trail in Palm Beach Gardens, the park is open from 10 am - 6 pm., Monday through Saturday; and from noon - 5 pm on Sunday. Admission is $1.00 per person.
Splash Adventure at Quiet Waters--- If your grandchild has a birthday anywhere from April to October, why not plan a party at Splash Adventure? A large water playground geared for kids ages 12 and younger, Splash Adventure is a located within Quiet Waters in Deerfield Beach. Open from 9:30 a.m. - 5:20 p.m., Splash Adventure offers Funbrella Party Packages. The pool measures 20 feet across and is built for 40 guests. Parties can be reserved for $75 per day on weekends/holidays; $35 per day on weekdays. From March 3rd-April 29th, the water park is open Saturdays and Sunday only. From April 30th - September 3rd, it's open daily, and from September 8th-October 28th, it's open only on Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is for $4 for children for children over age 1 and is free for children 1 and under.
Sparkles Arts and Crafts---Located in Boca Raton, Sparkles Arts and Crafts offers classes for kids ages 2-12. Besides signing up for a series of classes, you can also pop in with your grandchild for a "Drop in Crafts" or "Open Studio Time." What makes Sparkles classes exceptional is that kids get to create a different project each week. Sparkles Arts and Crafts is open from 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Ages are divided into three groups: under 4, 4 to 7, and 8 to 12. Cost is $10.75.
Palm Beach Zoo---The zoo is always a hit for children of all ages. Thee Palm Beach Zoo is home to more than 1,500 animals from Florida, North and South American, Asia, and Australia and encompasses 23 acres of tropical lush tropical land. Besides the animals, there are shady baths, waterfalls, and shows at the Wildlife Theater and Bird Show Dock. You can also splash in the interactive pond, as well as ride the carousel with your grandchildren. When the kids get hungry, stop fo lunch at the Topics Café where you can shop for souvenirs. Admission is $8.95 for children three through 12; $12.95 for adults; seniors 60 and older get in for $9.85. Children under 3 years old are free.
Boca Raton Children's Museum---Here your grandchildren can dress up in costumes from anywhere around the world, as well as pretend to shop for groceries in a kid-sized grocery store. These are just a few of the attractions at the Boca Raton Children's Museum. Open Tuesday through Saturday, 12-4 p.m., the Boca Raton Children's Museum is $3 per person; infants are free.

Story Hours at the Palm BeachCounty Libraries----You can always go to a local Palm Beach County Library where you grandchildren can be read stories for free. Besides stories, local Palm Beach County libraries offer a variety of special events. Please call the library where your grandchildren live for details.
The Beach---Of course, children of all ages love to go to the beach. What's more, it's free. Palm Beach County has a variety of clean, safe, beaches, all the way from the North County beaches of Jupiter to the southern end of the county in Boca Raton. At many of the beaches, such as Carlin Park and Dubois Park in Jupiter, you can plan a family picnic, as well as enjoy the playground equipment.
These are just a few suggestions. I'm sure you can find many other ways to have fun with your grandchildren while you're in the Palm Beaches.
