1. Pumpkin Faces-
With so much room on a pumpkin, it's just begging for a face! Take some non-toxic washable paint like Crayola and paint faces on your pumpkin. Remember, because there are four sides you can have up to four faces on each pumpkin! For a really different look, add hair using pipe cleaners or even confetti.
2. Mr. Pumpkin Head-
Everyone has heard of Mr. Potato Head, but not many have heard about Mr. Pumpkin Head. The idea is the same, however, you can decorate your pumpkin using Popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, cloves, brads or just about anything that you can imagine. It's your pumpkin- so go crazy!
3. Pumpkin Chimes-
Unlike the ones that you hang outside on the porch, these ones don't make noise and you probably don't want to put them outside because they are made of paper. All you need is six 2 inch strips of orange construction paper, glue and some green construction paper for leaves at the top. Fold each strip of paper into a circle so that it is round. Add the next strip so that it sits inside the first, right next to it. Glue each piece so that they will stay together. Continue to do this until all of them are glued in place. Put your green construction paper on top so that you cover where all your strips went together. How your pumpkin chime is ready to hang.
No matter what you choose to do with your pumpkin, remember that it's yours and it can be as scary or friendly as you like.
