Christmas Crafts for Kids

I absolutely LOVE the holidays!! One of the reasons why I like it so much is because it is the perfect time to spend with my daughter. One of the ways I like to spend time with my daughter is to do some crafts. I love it and so does she. It not only lets kids embrace the artistic side of them but its also a great bonding experience. Here are 3 of my daughter's favorite Santa crafts that we do every year.

Paper Plate Santa Face

What you will need:
1 paper plate
white cotton balls
2 wiggly eyes
red construction paper
scissors
glue
crayons or markers

1. Color the paper plate peach and color a nose in the middle of the paper plate. The under the nose make a red Santa mouth.
2. Glue the cotton balls on the paper plate, starting about 3/4 down the paper plate and continuing all the way to the bottom and all the way across the paper plate. Make sure not to put cotton balls on the mouth but glue some around the mouth.
3. Glue both wiggly eyes on the paper plate.
3. While the cotton balls are drying cut a triangle out of red construction paper for the Santa's hat. Glue one cotton ball at the point of the hat and then glue some cotton balls all along the bottom of the triangle.
4 When both pieces are dry then you can glue the hat onto the top of the paper plate.
