Surprise Student Council Birthday Acknowledgment
All high school students do not receive a birthday cake, party, gifts or any acknowledgment on the day that they were born. Student council members can make positive changes in the lives of their classmates by hosting birthday celebrations at school. These birthday acknowledgments can be given in a variety of ways so long as they are appropriate. Seek advance approval from the principal or faculty members, if necessary. Surprise birthday songs can be performed by student council members.
Visit the birthday celebration recipient in one of his or her classes with a cake, flowers or handful of balloons. This will require student council to get information about the recipient's next class or full roster for proper planning of birthday activities for school. Wait until the class has been in session for at least 15 minutes and enter the room singing a birthday song. Birthday celebrations are one of the fun student council activities for school that should not be planned as a one-time celebration. Execute this activity during each month of the school year to reach as many students as possible.
Birthday card distribution is a less expensive route for student council that can still be fun. After becoming a student council member, collect as many student birthdays as possible during the beginning of your school year. The birthday should include a first and last name, birthday month and day. Last names can help to prevent confusion if there are multiple students at your school who share the same first name and birthday. While it may be rare that four boys named John at the same high school have a birthday on February 12th, never underestimate these possibilities. Surprise birthday celebrations are fun student council activities for school that help to make fellow students feel special and appreciated.
School Report Card Challenges
Use fun report card incentives to boost productivity and grade point averages at your school. Student council members have the opportunity to take on more responsibility in their leadership roles by challenging fellow students to excel in school. Report card challenges are fun student council activities for school that can be developed using a variety of methods. Student council members can challenge classmates to beat their test scores or report card grade averages. The students who agree to this challenge and do not finish with expected results must do something silly, donate money to charity or participate in community service.
The winning students or those who meet all challenge requirements win a prize. Student council must vote and make decisions for both the losing consequences and prizes that will be put into play. Basic report card goals and quotas set by student government is also an alternative option to these fun student council activities for school. Prizes can be given to students who receive straight A's on their report card. Second and third place prizes can be given to students without C's or F's on their report card, perfect attendance or other accomplishments. There are many options for prizes given for a report card challenge including gift cards, DVDs, food, books, electronics and even clothing. Prizes should be covered from money collected from a school budget or previous student council fundraising activities.

These are nice ideas. Many kids don't get attention even at home, so this would at least make them feel appreciated. Nice job.
