Fun Stuff for Teens to Do on School Break In and Around St. Charles, Missouri

Elle
School break doesn't have to be boring. There are plenty of opportunities in and around the St. Charles area for teens to spend their time, get some exercise, and have some fun. Call your friends and plan your days ahead. Plenty of kids are not going on vacation and will be glad you asked them to do something fun. Here are some great places you and your friends can hang out while you are on school break.

Skyzone is one of my teens favorite places to go with their friends. At Skyzone, they have a giant arena filled with trampolines where you can jump, play dodge ball, and get a ton of exercise. Parents are required to sign a waiver on the internet before kids 18 and under can jump. Regular admission is $12.00 per session. Each session is one hour, about all you can handle. My kids are usually wore out afterwards. Makes for a great night of sleep.

If you like video games, putt putt golf, or go carts, try America's Incredible Pizza Company in St/ Peters or at the St. Louis location. They have something to offer everyone. You have to pay $9.99 for the buffet just to get in the doors, but you could spend the entire day there and eat 2 or 3 times to get your moneys worth. They offer all kinds of video games in addition to larger attractions like the bumper cars and the bowling. You have to pre-pay for your video games by loading money onto a card, and the games are a little pricey, but a full day of fun if you have the cash to burn.

If you like the amusement and video games, but don't want to pay the price of America's Incredible Pizza, you can take a short trip over the bridge to Maryland Heights and visit Dave and Busters. For $15.99 you can get the "Eat and Play Combo" that offers a huge plate of food (8 choices to choose from) and $10 for game play. Dave and Busters does require an adult to accompany all children because they serve alcohol. Children 18 and under must be with an adult 25 years of age or older and no more than 6 children can be supervised by one adult.

Need something to do that costs less, try IceZone at the St. Louis Mills Mall just past New Town in Hazelwood. The ice arena is the official practice site of the St. Louis Blues Hockey Team. They offer open skating daily. If you don't know how to skate, you can ask a friend to help you, or sign up for a group lesson with all your friends. Afterwards, you can enjoy walking around the mall to window shop or stop at the Starbucks Coffee for some hot chocolate or flavored java.
