This is a great activity for kids of at least elementary school age who always seem to have too much stuff. They will get to be involved in every step of the process, from picking items to sell, to pricing items, and even taking payment on the big day.

In this fun activity, children are challenged to construct an obstacle course in the backyard, with each child coming up with at least one or two obstacles. Then children take turns timing a run of the course, with all the other kids acting as a cheering squad. Children can then try to beat their own times in subsequent runs.
