Grapevine's parks and recreation department is first class offering residents and surrounding towns exciting activities and community celebrations.
For pre-school children the parks and recreation centers offer summer camps, pre-school gymnastics, pee-wee basketball, dance classes, and even Tae Kwon Do. Classes like Sporties for Shorties and Tumbling for Tots helps develop basic motor skills and enhance strength and agility.
For kids ages 7-10 they offer classes for cheer, drill team, and gymnastics. 8-11 year olds can take part in the Junior Jazzercise classes, Karate and Fencing. 12-16 year olds are offered Weight Training for Youth classes and Strength, Stretch & Flex classes. Above all else, children get a sense of accomplishment and self-esteem.
Sign dad and the kids up for Flat Water Kayaking or if you have any budding photographers sign them up for the Amateur Photographers Contest.
