Trick-or-Treating
Parents and kids both love to go trick-or-treating. As a kid, I looked forward to this day for months. When Halloween arrived, my parents and I use to stay out all night long going from house to house getting candy and scaring the neighbors. Our neighborhood used to have a costume contest. Although I never won, I always had a great time.
Halloween Office Party
A Halloween office party is a great way to bond with your co-workers and to get them into the spirit of Halloween. You can host an adult-only Halloween office party or a family friendly Halloween office party. At an adult-only party, serve Halloween inspired cocktails, finger foods, and candy. At a family-friendly Halloween office party, set up trick or treating stations throughout the office and allow children to trick-or-treat.
Corn Maze
I have gone to a corn maze the last several years, and it is one of the most fun things to do for Halloween. Of course, I live in an area where there are a lot of corn fields. If you live in a suburban area you may have a difficult time finding a corn maze. If you do locate a corn maze, go with a bunch of friends. Race to see who can get through the corn maze the quickest.
Haunted House
No Halloween is complete without a visit to a haunted house. Many haunted houses donate the proceeds of their sales to a school or local charity. Some haunted house locations are for an older audience. These are typically more expensive and much, much scarier. Other haunted houses are family friendly and aren't as scary but are a lot of fun for small children. I went to a haunted house last year with my family and to tell you the truth, I kind of dreaded going. However, after I got there and went in I realized that it was one of those fun things to do for Halloween that no one should miss out on.
Halloween Party at Your Local Church
Not everyone likes to let their kid go trick-or-treating. A Halloween party at your local church will allow your children to score some Halloween candy and dress up and have a great time. Best of all, you don't have to worry about your child as much. Consider advertising the Halloween party so that other parents within the community can bring their children to the party. Everyone likes to see kids have a great time at Halloween, even if they don't live in the best of areas.
These five fun things to do for Halloween should be on your list this year. You won't be disappointed!

Post a CommentWhile i do not celebrate the day, I love and enjoy handing out candy to the little ones. The babies are precious when you see their eyes light up at the sight of so many different candies.

Great ideas, Meg C. Thanks for putting 'em out there, just in time for Halloween. :)
