Fun Tips to Get Your Kids to Eat Fruits and Veggies

I know from being a parent of little ones that getting children to eat fruit ,and vegetables can be such a pain, so I am going to give you tips on easy ways to get your kids eating fruits and veggies in no time. First you need to start by getting your child in the kitchen with you, children tends to have more fun making, and playing in their food so getting them in the kitchen would be a great choice. A banana is a good fruit that you might be able to convince your child to eat, because alot of fruits are good with added spices like cinnamon, ground cloves, allspice, ground ginger, and nutmeg are all great tasty spices that a child loves.

Now getting your child to eat warm vegetables can be a big headache, so try raw veggies with a tasty dressing for dipping, kids normally will eat raw veggies with dressings like french and ranch dressing which tastes amazing with carrots most kids love this. Allow your children to help you make veggie pizza you can use crescent rolls for your pizza dough and pour italian style tomato soup for the sauce, and let them add on any veggies that they think will be good on their pizza like mushrooms, blackolives, onions and so many other veggie toppings to pick from, this would be a great way for a mini veggie pizza. Using fruits in their favorite cereal cut into slices like banana, peaches or strawberries. If your child like peanut butter sandwiches you can add apple slices or raisins, or you can use your peanut butter as a dip, warm it in the microwave for about 30 seconds, and dip your apple slices, or any other fruit for a great snack. You can use yogurt as a dip for fresh fruits. Adding shredderd carrots to a burger made with ground beef would be a good choice, even have your child roll the ground beef with you.

You can give your child ice cream topped with fruits, banana's or any type berries are the best with ice cream. Most kids love cheese so get your childs favorite cheese the one they love the most, and melt it over broccoli. You can get 100% pure fruit juice, and make frozen juice pops. Assorted fruits with jello mixed in is another perfect way to get their fruit in. The best way to get your children to eat more fruits and veggies is when they are younger you will find that it is much easier for them to love fruits and vegetables. If you can't get your child to eat no types of fruits, and veggies, maybe they will drink it, try pouring some vegetable juice over some ice with a funny roller coaster straw and they probably will drink it right up not so much for the taste but to see it in the funny shaped straw, or try a great banana or strawberry smoothie that might be the trick , this drink will be sure to get your child drinking fruits in no time so give it a try.
