Fun Ways to Ask Someone to a Dance: Part 2

Blair Hill
Trying to be extra creative when it comes to asking your date to your next dance? Why not try these unique ideas? You'll be sure to get a "Yes" answer! Or if you're looking for fun and unique ways to respond to someone who has asked you to a dance, these would work as well.

On a blank, white shirt, write your name all over several times. As well, write several other peoples names. Tell them that they must wear the shirt and wash it to reveal who is asking them to the date!

Why not write your date a silly song. Find a popular song for the time period and change the lyrics to something silly to play for your date. Too embarrassed to play face to face? Record your song on a table or CD and leave it at your potential date's front door!

Stringing along? Ask your date to your next dance with string! Attach the letters of your name several feet apart on a long string, and leave the string at your date's front door. Tell them to pull the string along in order to find out who wants to "string along" to the dance with them!

Know your potential date is going out to eat? Instead of having their servers sing them Happy Birthday, why not have them sing your potential date asking them to go to the dance with you. You might have to bribe the servers, but with a little nudging, this could be a totally fun and unique way of asking!

Take a picture of your school, your date, the day activity location, etc. Get a mini scrapbook or brag book photo album and put all of the pictures in the album or scrapbook. On the very last page, put your picture of yourself holding a sign asking your potential date to the dance!
