Fun Ways to Say, "I Love You"

I've always thought that some people have a really hard time showing affection. Others seem to have an even harder time verbalizing their feelings. Saying I Love You can be a huge milestone in some lives. It really doesn't have to be all that serious and hard. You can actually have a fun time expressing your love. If you've always tripped over the words or haven't given them out freely enough lately, here's a few ways for you to lighten up and say I Love You to the one you love.

Icing is just a favorite thing of mine. When I choose a piece of cake, I always go for the piece with the most icing. I know this is shameless but I really do like icing. That's the reason I'm mentioning it first. Why not bake cupcakes and mound them up with lots of icing. Use a variety of icing colors to keep it festive. Have fun with it and dip your finger right into the top of each cupcake to carve in a letter. Space them out on some pretty platter so they spell out I Love You. If the person you're doing this for doesn't love you already, they might after they bite into that mound of icing. I'd suggest baking both yellow and chocolate cupcakes so that you're sure to have their favorite.

Balloons are always a blast. They make everybody smile. They're also very inexpensive if you live near a store that sells everything for a dollar. The trick is to bring some markers with you or purchase them at the store first. Buy a variety of colors of balloons and ask the clerk to let you write on them before inflating them. Write out the words I Love You with each letter a different color than the balloon it's on. Ask the clerk to also use as many different colors of string as possible. It will give the balloon bouquet an extra fun look. Take it to the one you love and watch the smile light up their face. It's an easy and fun way to say I Love You and it'll look like you really went to some trouble to do it.

Something as simple as a click of your camera can be another great way to express your love. Get to the nearest beach if you can. If you're not near a beach , go to the nearest sandbox. Bring along your digital camera and keep it in it's case till you've drawn a heart in the sand. You might want to add your lovers name or initials along with your own. You can also draw the words I Love You into the sand. However you do it, make sure you have fun doing it. Take a picture of your artwork and go home to put it into your computer. Print it out and frame it in an inexpensive frame. If you're able to hang it somewhere that your lover will see it, that is even more fun. If not, just wrap it in some tissue paper and gift it to the person you love. It's sure to land you a place on their wall as well as a place in their heart.

It's hard for me to stray far from food when talking about love. For that reason alone, I'll add pizza to my list. The beauty of this idea is that it really doesn't matter what type of pizza your lover likes. The only exception is for those that will only eat cheese. Otherwise, order your lovers favorite topping and ask them to spell out I Love You with the toppings. You can get even more creative if you're ordering a pizza with more than one topping. Have them use one topping to spell out the words. Ask them to use the other topping to circle the words in a heart. Promise a big tip and the pizza parlor will gladly oblige. When your sweetheart gets their favorite hot pizza delivered and sees the trouble you went to, that first bite should be enough to win over their heart. It's an inexpensive and unique fun way to say I Love You.

There are no rules about how to say I Love You. You can be as creative and fun with it as you'd like to be. The whole idea is to enjoy the love you share and make sure the person you love is having fun too. Have all the fun you want with it and let yourself be as silly as you can. Being in love makes people feel happy. It's extra special when they can have fun with all that happiness and share it. I hope reading my ideas inspires you to act young and care free.
