This is a free website to check nationwide to see if you are owed money. It could be money left in a bank account, money from an insurance company, utilities or private businesses. I keep checking, but I have yet to find any money for me out there.
It isn't as morbid as it sounds. Okay maybe it is, but it is interesting. You can search for famous gravesites, by location, by date (both birth and death) or search for your ancestor's graves. Some have the basic information - date of birth & death and location ; others have articles and or photographs.

If you are like me you have spices in your pantry that might actually qualify as an antique. Here is a website to check the age of your McCormick spices by the code on the bottom of the container.

This website has articles and photographs on the world's most unusual properties for sale. Right now Dracula's Castle in Transylvania is the featured property.

While I'm on the subject, here is another website with unusual buildings. These aren't for sale, but there are photographs. I really like the Bull Dog Café and the Mother Goose Café.

This is a word game you can play that helps feed the hungry. For every word you get correct the sponsor donates 20 grains of rice through the United Nations to feed the hungry. So this is the best of two words you get to be self righteous if you are confronted by someone who thinks you are just fooling around. It may look like you are playing a game, but no you are helping feed someone. If you get a word incorrect - you just get a "please try again" and no rice is donated. I almost forgot the website keeps up with your word vocabulary and gives you a rating on your vocabulary level.

This is a quiz that asks about 20 questions to help you identify which religion (if any) your belief system matches. I would tell you mine, but I've learned not to discuss religion with anybody.

Finding websites like these gets addictive - great finds!
These are a fun addition. I like the first go round. Maybe this can be a theme post for you to continue - I know I'd like it ;-)
I'm going to check out missingmoney.org. I'm probably not in the system, but I'm sure my husband is. Thanks Genie!

I'll definately have to check out freerice.org. And, I wish more of my friends would use the McCormick site - their food would taste better with < 3 y.o. spices. :-)
Thanks!!!
Thank you for all of this information. Hope you really had fun doing it.
I actually found missing money- I think it was a state sponsored website, though. I can't remember the name of it now. It was for one day's pay about 15 years ago. Not a lot of money, but exciting nonetheless. :)
Thanks for the sites.
