When you live in the northern part of the United States especially in a state where it's not rare to see temperatures dip to below zero for about 3 or 4 months out of the year, you need to be able to enjoy yourself with some cold weather activities during that time. Here in Mora, Mn. there are a number of fun things the kids can do while, like an old Xmas tune says "Oh The Weather Outside is Frightful", but we just "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow", and enjoy it. Weather it's snowmobiling, ice fishing, skiing, ice skating or playing hockey, the Minnesota kids keep plenty busy throughout the winter months with these various activities. Here is a guide to some of the the fun things Mora kids may be doing while a blanket of snow covers our terrain.
