Television families are an inspiration to parents. They bring laughter, and joy to our lives. Families on television are the ultimate guilde for parents. Television is more than entertainment, it is a recipe for success. Who are these television families who are an inspiration to us as parents?

Two and a half men is not your "normal" family. Allen and Charlie are brothers who share a beach house in Malibu. Allan has a teenage son who he shares custody with his ex wife. This unique family structure gives parents an insight to family life. They inspire parents to be better parents and to learn from their mistakes. The Simpson's is a cartoon based family who brings laughter into our homes. This family sitcom has been on the air for more than ten years. That much success proves over the years the Simpson's are here to stay and does bring laughter to our lives. They are a family who has touched us in so many inspiring ways. The crazy stories that are attached to the Simpson's' roars us into laughter. This family gives us entertainment from our hectic lives. Do you wish for this family to bring laughter into your home? Trading Spouses is more than having a new mommy for a week or two. It is about the importance of family. The families on each episode is from different backgrounds. We can learn from their cultures, beliefs and backgrounds. Trading spouses gives us a break from our stressful lives. These moms trade lives up to two weeks with a new mom from a different region of the world. Trading spouses is available to audiences on the CMT channel Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the times vary on these days.

The Family guy is another great cartoon to view. The Griffin family has so much to offer us a family. We as parents learn so much from the Griffin's. Parents are not perfect and neither are they. This family has an infant child who speaks and is trying to take over the world. And a dog who is an alcoholic and speaks. Ugly Betty steps into the fashion world. Betty is a highly intelligent woman, who is of Latin culture. Her family is very close to each other. But isn't always supportive of each other. The adventures of Betty, her friends and family inspire us to be better. Laughter fills our homes from their mishaps. Do you wish to see more? Ugly Betty airs on ABC, Thursday's 8/7c.

These family sitcoms are a hit among families. They bring laughter and fun to our lives. We forget all the trouble and stresses we endure on a daily basis. As parents how do we learn from these families? We learn better communication skills, and trust. Without these two steps, we cannot begin to build healthier relationships with our children and family. The fictional families are the inspiration to our parenting skills. It isn't just about laughter and entertainment, it is about the family structure. Television families are our hope for families who watch them on a daily basis.

I personally have learned so much from these families. What exactly have I learned? I have learned not to make their same mistakes. You become a better person. Communication skills and expressing your emotions are a few tips to learn from these families. You can't learn everything over night. To really fit into the craze of these fictional characters and their dilemmas is to stay tune to the shows weekly. Let them become a part of your family.
