Choosing the perfect Halloween costumes for your little ones can be a long process. If you want your children or grandchildren to have funny coordinating costumes this year, consider one of the humorous suggestions below. Each fun theme comes with an online shopping guide or quick DIY instructions.

Cow and Milk Bottle

Dress the older child as a cow and the younger child as a milk bottle. If you have more than 2 children, you can have multiple cows or multiple milk bottles.

Where to buy cow costumes: Costume Craze sells cute cow costumes in baby, toddler, and child sizes. Prices start at about $18.

How to make a milk bottle costume: Buy a plain white baby sleeper or plain white pants and onesie. Use red fabric paint to write the word "Milk" across the top portion of the chest. Draw measuring lines along the side to indicate ounces.

Cookie Monster and a Cookie

What could be more fun than cookie monster chasing after a cookie? Dress up the younger child as cookie monster and the older child as a cookie. The younger sibling then gets to chase big brother or big sister around on Halloween!

Where to buy a Cookie Monster costume: Costume Express has these costumes available from sizes 12/18 months to child sizes 4/6x for about $40.

How to make cookie costumes: Pick up some large sheets of brown poster board, string and black markers. Cut out two large circles from the brown poster board and use the black markers to draw in chocolate chips. Cut out a "bite" from each side. Attach string in 2 places on the top of each circle. The cookie will go over your child's head and rest on the shoulders. Dress in solid color clothing.

Chef and a Lobster

This is a fun combination for the little cook in your family! The older child dresses up as a chef while the little one dresses up as a lobster. Use a large cooking pot as a prop when taking fun Halloween costume pictures.

Where to buy a chef costume: Anytime Costumes has a fun chef costume set with matching hat and oven mitt, child sized 4-6, for about $30. You can also make your own chef costume quickly by picking up a plain chef shirt and hat at your local kitchen supply store. Add plain black pants to complete the look.

Where to buy an infant sized lobster costume: One Step Ahead has an adorable baby size lobster costume that fits little ones up to 25 pounds for about $13.

Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny

This classic funny duo will be the hit of the neighborhood! Add an extra detail such as a cardboard sign for Elmer that says, "Huntin' for wabbits!" This is a great Halloween costume combo to win contests at school.

How to Make an Elmer Fudd costume: You may be able to cobble together an Elmer Fudd costume with clothes you have on hand. You'll need a shirt, pants, and boots in plain brown or plaid. Find an oversized brown hunting hat at a thrift store or local costume store. Pick up some red and brown felt at a craft store, and glue the red felt to the sides of the brown hat. Make a tie using the brown felt and glue to the top of the hat.

Where to buy Bugs Bunny costume: Annie's Costumes offers this costume with a plush headpiece in toddler and child sizes for about $40.
