The ever so popular Koopa Kids (Koopalings) from Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World will finally be making their debut as figurines. Furuta latest wave if Super Mario bros. figurines will include three of the seven Koopa Kids. Roy, Lemmy, and Larry Koopa will be the first Koopa Kids to be sealed in a chocolate candy egg. The figures are safely kept inside a plastic capsule covered by a hollow chocolate shell. Furuta surprised many Super Mario fans with the announcement of their Koopa Kids figurines, but does that mean that the Goldie and Popco toy company will have their own line as well? It is very unlikely since those companies focus on the more popular characters. Goldie has already listed their entire set of Super Mario figures at www.goldiemarketing.com.au.

What makes Furuta's waves of Super Mario figures go great is their wide selection of characters from the franchise. It is very clear that Furuta has so much passion for their unique lines of figurines, but the only problem these figures have is durability. Furuta's Mario Bros. figurines are clearly not meant to be played with since they are made of brittle plastic. This does not mean you should not buy them, but it is an issue that every collector should be familiar with. If you are looking for high quality Super Mario figures, then you should give Goldie's line a shot. Their figures are highly detailed and come with collectible tins that allow you to store your figures in. Unlike Goldie's line of two-inch Super Mario figures, Furuta's figures seem to take much more emphasis on the villains. For example, Furuta has already released Super Mario villain figures such as Piranha plants, Bloopers, Birdos, and Para Troopas. According to Furuta's official website at www.furuta.co.jp, there have already been four different waves of Super Mario Bros. released. It seems like the company plans on making more if sales are excellent.

Collectors are already anticipating Furuta's fifth wave because their may be even more Koopalings included. Ludwig Von Koopa is the Koopa Kid figure that many collectors are looking to get their hands on. The figures likely going to cost ten to fifteen dollars each on eBay, but there may be sellers who are willing to sell them for much less.
