Future Apple Products

Ready for the IFly, ICar and IBike?

Matthew Stoker
After introducing the iPod, the iPhone, and the iPad, what could Steve Jobs possibly come up with next which could captivate the minds of a tech savy nation? Deep within the bowels of the company's headquarters in Cupertino California engineers are working on a variety of futuristic projects which could come to fruition (no pun intended) in a couple years, to a decade, depending on how quickly they can be developed. Despite outward appearances, Steve Jobs himself is involved with the day to day engineering innovations used to bring these products to consumers. Rumors are that Steve built the first iPod out of a roll of aluminum foil, a crystal radio set, and a disassembled walkman.

Listed below is a glance at the future:

1. iShaver for men, and iShaver for women. Listen to music while you shave in the morning, each iShaver has enough memory to hold 200 songs, making this tedious chore a little more enjoyable.

2. iPizza. A high intensity cooking oven is included in the kit, the iPizza service allows consumers to pre-order frozen pizzas made to their specifications, rumor to include over 313 toppings and made in Brooklyn or Chicago, the frozen pies are then shipped to consumers who can then cook them in about 3 minutes inside specially made ovens which heat up to thousands of degrees for a couple minutes.

3. iBike. Yup, Apple is getting into what they call the "personal transportation and entertainment division". The iBike allows users to ride while listening to music or watching video on a small screen. Power for this service is provided via a small electric generator connected to the pedals.

4. iCar. Expected to come out later than the iBike, the iCar contains a full range of electronic offerings for each passenger, including internet access, a small computer workstation and satellite uplink to thousands of movies for road trips. iCar will be powered with approximately 1,000 Macbook batteries, or 4,000 iPhone batteries.

5. iFly. The iFly is a forty pound device which contains a self inflating and deploying 30 foot diameter helium balloon, along with a solar powered fan for flight controls. Expected to be sold to lost hikers who could use the device to airlift themselves out of potentially dangerous situations, or to people seeking to cross international borders without attracting a lot of attention.

6. iPoop. A toilet for toddlers who are in the process of being toilet trained. The iPoop talks to your toddler and gives them instructions on how to use the toilet and even sings them a song while they are pooping.

7. iTV. Similar design/shape as an iPad, but which has dedicated link to new Apple satellite system in order to provide HD streaming of over 2,000 channels, 74 of which will involve retail. Ability to buy movies as well, but 20% of each sale goes to Steve Jobs as part of the "Jobs Tax" program being rolled out in September 2010.

8. iFind. New top secret GPS enabled device which allows users to, in the virtual world, tag buildings and stores, and also allows fellow users to keep tags on other users as it reports their last known location. Good for teenagers going to mall who want to meet up with or find friends. Car keys can be equipped with GPS/homing device for easy location as well.

9. iBook. While the iPad is expected to allow users to access millions of books in the future, the iBook will technologically recreate the look and feel of a book using space age paper thin flexible screens, for users in the future when books are only seen in antique shops.

10. iKite. Electronic version of the classic kite for kids. When the wind gusts up in spring you can use iKite to figure out how fast the wind is blowing, the temperature, as well as take aerial pictures of your neighborhood. iKite brings the fun of kite flying to new levels for kids.
