Striding the road
No food, no home
Alone am I
Alone until I die
Unseen by that,
For life is not flat
So free and gay
I sit and wander for days
Unnoticed by most
A vagabond and society's ghost
Travel far, travel near
No stress, no fear
Responsible for only me
Open road is all I see
Knowledge and truth
I seek as a sleuth
For life's true gift
Is more fact than myth
But shows itself true
To ones who want something new
No closed mind gets near me
For I am living in voluntary poverty
