G1 Phone Review

Customer Review of the Dazzling G1

Zach Golt
When the iPhone came out I resisted the urge to buy it because I knew that something else would come out that's better, or cheaper. It was really hard because everyone started to pick these phones up. I later read online that there was a new phone coming out! It was called the G1. Before I rushed into the store to buy it, my friend beat me to chase. She showed me her G1, and I fell in love. The rumors were true. The Google phone was new, cheap, and extravagant.

The phone is black, and it has a big screen with easy functionality. The keys are easy to ready, and so are the options on the screen. It has your usual talk, menu, pick up call, end call setting options. The phone is sleep and elegant. I really didn't think that the way your phone looked mattered, but for some it does. I have no problem taking my G1 one out and showing it to my friends. Smart phones are the new "gotta-haves."

I kid myself not, it wasn't an iPhone - but I liked it. The features were exactly what I was looking for in a phone. The phone can be synced with your computer. The Google phone also uses OS. The internet goes fast, and the features are easy to use. The keys are self explanatory, and had no problem switching over. The G1 doesn't have similar features to the iPhone. Overall, I'm excited to find out that it is easy to use. The touch screen keyboard was my favorite, and I also found myself using the trackball a lot. The trackball was extremely useful. My friend and I downloaded a few applications from the marketplace, and we are addicted!

It doesn't have as much memory as the iPhone, and that might bother some people. The good thing to keep in mind is that I don't want an iPod to replace my phone. When buying the iPhone people have a hard time deciding whether or they should get a lot of memory. The thing is, you don't need another iPod(the feature on your iPhone), so get a phone. The text messaging plan comes out cheap, and I think that its worth the buck!

The G1 is a cheaper, more affordable alternative to the iPhone. The G1 is also trying to use a new open source operating system, so I am thrilled! The phone has a lot of neat features if it is time for your upgrade. I would recommend this phone to anyone. It picks up calls easily, and I haven't dropped any calls since I got it! Go for the G1! it will not disappoint you.
