Yes, there are some classic movies in the list, but there are also a lot of questionable ones. A lot of people that have seen "Alien Resurrection" would not agree that it is a movie that doesn't suck, but evidently G4 thinks it is fitting for their series. Why? Well, lets look at the other movies. "Revenge of the Nerds" is a classic movie no doubt, but especially for the watchers of G4. Most of the shows on G4 deal with gaming and game related subjects. If you look at the list of Movies That Don't Suck, you will realize that most of the nerdy gamers would agree that those are great movies. For other people, not so much. Am I saying that all of the movies suck? No, I actually love "Fight Club", "Happy Gilmore", and a lot of the others, but I think most people can agree when I say that G4's "Movies That Don't Suck" actually do suck.

Post a Comment"Most people" would agree with you? Ahh the certainty of the self-deluded. Who has ever heard of you? (Or ever will?) On the other hand, people have heard of most of the movies on that list. Many are classics, few are duds. And I guess that's why those are the only ones you notice.
This is a bogus website that obviously will publish anyone, just to be controversial and boost circulation to sell their ads.
What does suck, is when they showed Fist of Fury, they cut off the ending and shrank it, to run an ad for another show. That's sucky. Oh -- and the writer of this bogus article, of course.
dont watch the movies then, no one cares about your opinion.
Robocop, played way to much
I attempted to watch a "movie that doesn't suck" on G4 tonight. It was 90% commercials and totally hacked up. I tried to go to their pathetic web site to protest but that is as bad as their network. This was the first and last time I will watch this channel. It sucks beyond belief. It's the "tragedy of the commons" but I'm sure that the owners/producers of G4 are too illiterate and stupid to get the reference. Companies that place ads should realize the animosity that results from too many ads. I will not consider Geico or any other companies that advertise on this pathetic channel. Screw them. Back to reading my book.

the movies they play in the "movies that dont suck" block are cult movies..expect to see movies that are typically ignored or misunderstood by the multitude for whatever reason. i always thought of the name as a retort to typical people who would say it sucks because its wasn't big or technically "well-made".
i love almost every movie i see come on, on movies that don't suck. so just dont be so judgmental and enjoy the movie for the sake of it! if you like it you like it, if you don't you don't! see cause i can't stand the toxic avenger...jesus christ i hate that movie. and revenge of the nerds.
The Host, Fight Club, The Big Lebowski, and Lost in Translation are out of place here.

I cant stand watching movies on G4. I don't know if its just my provider(Verizon) but the volume of the movie is much lower than that of the commercials to where I nearly become deaf when the commercials come on its so loud. Just because of this I will not watch movies on G4 at all.
