Gaelic Storm took the world by storm almost a decade ago with their first appearance in the film Titanic. They have gone from pub-band to premier touring Celtic Band with an ever growing fan base. They blend traditional Celtic music and refresh them with their unique musical stylings.

Besides Titanic, seven of their albums have topped the chart on Billboard. They have pleased million through their television, radio, and concert appearances. They have been the prime selling feature of a Hallmark greeting card featuring their song, "Kiss Me I'm Irish". But as Hallmark's slogan is, "When you care enough to send the very best", assuredly they were referring to Gaelic Storms music. It is the very best.

Gaelic Storm's 7th album, "What's the Rumpus?" released in July 2008 topped the Billboard World Album Chart quickly. It has been voted Irish Album of the year. It is a lively mix, filled with the devil-may-care attitude and whimsy, the very thing the Irish are famous for. With bawdy ballads and love songs, only add more to the rich tradition of Irish songs. The opening cut is based on a true story involving the band's singer, Patrick Murphy, entitled "The Night I Punched Russell Crowe". The album's unique flare can be seen as they manage to mix in the sound of African drums and make it fit within the genre of Celtic music. They stretch Celtic music to the limits and expand the horizons of any musicians brave enough to follow in this band's groundbreaking footsteps.

The good news for June 2009 is bright; the band began touring the weekend of May 30, 2009. You may have missed that concert but they may be coming to a place near you. Here is a list of the June concert dates.
