Gain Muscle Mass: 4 Golden Rules You Need to Obey

Anne Shellay
There may be lots of bodybuilding coaches out there teaching different strategies on how to pack on more muscle mass, but all of them obey the 4 same golden rules.

These rules are the core of what makes up the training plan of most bodybuilding coaches. They go hand in hand with each other, and just overlooking one of them will greatly reduce the overall results you can get from your training.

1. You Must Plan Before Starting Your Training

Planning is an integral part of your training because it gives you an overview on what you must do and what you shouldn't. Often times I've seen people reaching the gym only to think about what they are going to train for the day.

Without a plan, they just go around every machine and play around with it without really doing much work. Now tell me, how many muscular people in the world got their results from not having a plan and working out in the gym by playing around with every machine?

2. You Must Have A Diet/Nutrition Plan

Did you know you spend 90% of your time out of the gym? Don't you think the majority of those time is an essential part that affects how your muscles grow too?

Yes it does because knowing the right nutrition to feed your body at the right time will yield much greater results compared eating junk even though you train hard.

3. Set A Specific Goal

Write down a specific goal on how much muscle you want to put on, how much body fat you want to have by a certain period of time. Giving yourself a goal and reasons to hit the goal is what motivates you to attend training no matter how tiring your day have been.

You can even set up conditions where you can motivate yourself to attend training. That is by asking a closed friend to fine you $10 for everyday you skip training. We humans are naturally afraid of monetary loss and that's why this is such a great motivator.

4. Record Your Results

This step is actually the most gratifying one because you can see that you how much you have achieved since starting your training. You will be even more motivated to train harder because you believe that your dedication and passion have paid off.

These are actually the only 4 key components that you have to follow in order to achieve satisfying results in building a muscular body.
